I joined Phoenix Play in September 2025, after nearly 15 years working in social housing, repairs & maintenance, and property operational management roles. I was looking for a new direction in my career and to find somewhere that aligned with my values and filled my heart with joy! From my very first interview, I knew that Phoenix was somewhere special to work, and as each month has gone by, I have already been made to feel part of the ‘family’. Everyone here is so genuine and helpful and I feel right at home.

It’s great to have joined them at such a pivotal time of growth and that I can help shape the future of the business too.

Each day has its challenges, but I love being involved with creating a happy place for children to play, learn and grow. Definitely more job satisfaction than some of my previous roles! 

My spare time is usually spent dancing, walking or creating community events (and making home brew cider!)
