Charlotte Stanton

While studying for my BTEC Level 3 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development, I gained experience in nurseries, preschools, and primary schools. After college, I spent two years working in a nursery, mainly within the baby room, while also supporting in other age groups when needed. Working in Early Years taught me so much about how the right environment can support children’s development.

 In 2023, I decided to travel across Southeast Asia and Japan! When I returned, I continued to look for a new role within education, that’s when I found Phoenix Play!

Working in HR has given me the chance to take on a new challenge while still staying connected to education. In my role, I’m involved in every part of the people experience, supporting the team and helping create a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

 When I am not at work, I enjoy playing netball for my local team and love getting involved in matches. I also enjoy time with friends and family, especially my dog (Poppy) and my cat (Missy) and trying new restaurants. I will also never say no to a holiday or weekend away!
