Joe Newton

This year marks 10 years since I joined Phoenix Play. My time here started as an apprentice 3D Visualiser back in 2016, and over the course of a decade I have honed my technical skills, design expertise, and understanding of how to bring projects from concept to completion. This experience led me into my current role as a Product Specialist, where I create and refine designs while developing exciting new products for children across the country to enjoy and be inspired by.

Outside of work, I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, staying active and making the most of the fresh air. I love exploring new places with my girlfriend and our four-legged companion, Harvey. I regularly train at the gym and have a strong passion for all things automotive. I took on a classic BMW as a project car and have been carefully restoring it over the years, bit by bit improving every aspect. There’s nothing better than giving it a full detail and taking it out for a spirited drive to an early-morning show or even on a road trip somewhere in Europe. I also enjoy unwinding in the company of friends and family (both two- and four-legged), usually in an old pub or at a music festival during the summer months.
